Casa Melangolo

Casa Melangolo
We created a warm, inviting visual identity for Casa Melangolo, a guesthouse in Sorrento. The branding balances playful elements with clean design, drawing on mythological and traditional iconography.

‘Melangolo’ refers to a unique orange, celebrating the lush orchard surrounding the Casa. The logo’s illustration depicts joyous Hesperides, mythological guardians of fruit gardens. These figures embody shared nourishment, creative expression, and the free exchange of dreams, capturing Casa Melangolo’s vibrant, communal spirit.
Each of the other symbols represent the house’s pillars—kitchen, wellness, and experiences.
This image showcases artisanal food products from "Casa Melangolo," featuring two jars of marmalade in the foreground and a large jar of preserved lemons in the background. The marmalade jars, each with a golden lid, display minimalist labels. One jar is labeled "Marmellata di arance" (orange marmalade), featuring the silhouette of an orange cut out from the label, while the other is labeled "Marmellata di limoni" (lemon marmalade). Both labels mention "dal nostro frutteto" (from our orchard), highlighting the homemade, farm-to-table nature of the products. The jar of preserved lemons behind them adds to the rustic, handcrafted aesthetic of the scene.
This image displays the design of Casa Melangolo's business cards. The front has the brand's black logo on a green background, whilst the back has the guesthouse's contacts on a pink background with the brand's snake symbol as a detail.
